About Crowdlens

The creator of CrowdLens (@nickashley) had tried many different twitter clients, and felt that they all fell short in some area or another. So in July, he decided it was time to build his own.

The primary goal of CrowdLens was to make a client that alloweded you to easily keep track of your twitter account, so that you don't waste time scrolling through pages of tweets trying to find where you left off. This goal has been accomplished through a number of features, including automatic read tracking, saving your position server side, and sorting by oldest unread tweet.

CrowdLens was built as a web application so that users do not have to install anything to use it. No downloads, no Adobe Air requirements, no registration. Simply login through twitter, and you are up and running. Because the application is web based, it means features and bugfixes can be pushed out quickly. Users may also login from any computer with internet access and pick up exactly where they left off.
